Meditation:
Guided meditation isn't
truly meditation at all --- it is a relaxing form of
self-hypnosis. The difference is that you are not guiding
yourself; you are being guided by another through a path of outdoor
imagery that takes you deep into subconscious to a peaceful place that
only you are allowed to enter. I also refer to Guided Meditation
as Guided Imagery.
Through a
series of relaxing, mental exercises your mind goes deeper and deeper
into a state of total relaxation where you eventually end up in a
serene, quiet landscape. This is a place of total beauty and
peace. No tension or stress, problems or the problems of others
are allowed in the space. Here you may find the answers to the
questions you've been seeking, rid yourself of addictions and habits or
simply escape to the still, green bliss of nature.
